July Newsletter - Sphynx Cats Australia
Hello everyone,
I'm sorry that it has been so long since the last newsletter. As some of you know, our visa requires us to open a business here, and that has taken up a great deal of our time.
I have spoken to some of you about Posh. She was sent out from the UK ‘in kitten.' Sadly, when we collected her from the airport after her quarantine, it was obvious that she wasn't pregnant. When I spoke to the girl at Eastern Creek who was looking after her (at least twice a week), I was told that she was putting on weight. I would guess that the stress of the quarantine caused her to lose the kittens.
Buffy accompanied Posh on the journey, and they both have settled in really well.
Tehra is still in the UK; we hope that she will be on her way soon, again hopefully ‘in kitten.'
Spike, our stud from Sweden arrived in April. He is beautiful; he appears in about the first five pictures in the gallery. He now has an excellent understanding of English, remarkable really.
He is almost 9 months old, and has been doing his ‘duty' with Posh and Buffy. Posh is about 6 weeks pregnant and we're not yet sure with Buffy, it's too early to tell.
For those of you that are on the waiting list, thank you for your patience. If all goes well with Posh, her kittens should be ready in early November.
I anticipate that the next newsletter will be sent out about 2-3 weeks after Posh has her kittens, pictures of them will appear in the gallery.
Best wishes to you all,
Bev.
